Formula One legend visits Delta Force Paintball
He’s best known for winning World Championships, dating American pop stars and casually driving at 200mph for a living, but Formula One superstar Lewis Hamilton recently took time out of his busy schedule to visit his local Delta Force Paintball Centre for a day of unparalleled paintball thrills!
With Hollywood inspired movie set game zones, state of the art paintball equipment and a five star safety record, the Delta Force Manchester Paintball Centre is regularly visited by thousands of paintball players each year – including some of the world’s biggest celebrities.
Looking right at home in his US spec goggles and padded combat suit, the Mercedes driver was first off the blocks when it came to being issued with Delta Force Paintball’s semi automatic paintball machine guns. With the safety briefing and final goggle check done, the 2014 Sports Personality of the Year was ready to roll.
Slight in size but quick on his feet, Hamilton took to the game zones like a duck to water, registering several successful hits in the morning session. Formula One is an endurance sport, and the two time World Champion certainly had to pedal to the metal as the day drew to a close. With the fun all but over, Hamilton even found time to pose in basecamp for a few photos. What a sport.
Lewis isn’t the only major celebrity to visit one of our paintball centres. Previous guests have included the likes of Olympic champion Usain Bolt, Manchester United footballer Wayne Rooney and Australian supermodel Elle Macpherson.
