At Delta Force Paintball, we believe the adventure should be accessible to as many people as possible. There are no strict height or weight restrictions, though we do recommend the following for your comfort and safety:

  • Bespoke Equipment: We provide custom-designed body armour and combat suits in a wide range of sizes. Our equipment is adjustable and designed to accommodate various body types comfortably.
  • Mobility & Terrain: Our game zones are located in natural woodland. Players should be able to navigate uneven bushland terrain, slopes, and forest floors reasonably comfortably.
  • Safety First: For your safety, we must be able to ensure that our protective goggles and body armour fit correctly and securely.
  • Ask our Team: If you have specific concerns about sizing or mobility, please call our booking office. Our team is experienced in assisting groups of all sizes and can provide further details on our equipment specifications.

For further assistance or to discuss specific requirements, please contact our UK team on 0203 869 9135.

At Delta Force Paintball Manchester, your comfort and safety are our top priorities. While you may feel a slight “sting” similar to the flick of a rubber band, our professional-grade safety equipment is specifically engineered to minimize impact, allowing you to stay focused on the mission across our world-class game zones.

Our Industry-Leading Safety Gear

Every player at our Manchester centre is equipped with premium protection as standard:

  • Bespoke Body Armour: Custom-designed plated vests that protect the upper torso, significantly dampening the feel of any impact for players of all ages.

  • Full-Body Combat Suits: Heavy-duty suits featuring integrated padded neck collars to protect sensitive areas from stray shots during the heat of battle.

  • Full-Head Goggle Systems: Unlike standard goggles used elsewhere, our US-spec helmets wrap entirely around the head, protecting the ears, temples, and crown.

  • Professional Marshalling: Our expert Manchester marshals strictly enforce a “3-metre rule,” ensuring no shots are fired from close range during the game.

Pro-Tip for Manchester Players:

For maximum comfort, we recommend wearing loose, layered clothing (such as gym wear or tracksuits) underneath your combat suit. This adds a natural buffer while allowing you to move freely through the woodland terrain.

Extra Protection: Armoured tactical gloves are highly recommended to protect your hands and knuckles. These are available for purchase at our on-site Manchester base camp shop on the day of your event.

To protect the beautiful woodland environments where our centres are located, we have a strict Environmental Protection Policy:

  • Prohibited Items: We do not allow confetti cannons, party poppers, glitter, or any similar items on-site.

  • The Reason: These items often contain non-biodegradable plastics and micro-materials that are impossible to clear from the forest floor and can be harmful to local wildlife.

  • Celebrating Responsibly: We love hosting birthday parties and celebrations! We encourage you to bring balloons (which must be taken home with you) or themed banners to decorate your table in the base camp instead.

  • Keep It Green: Helping us keep our game zones litter-free ensures that the woodland remains a pristine environment for all players to enjoy.

While we provide industry-leading equipment, you are welcome to bring certain items of your own gear. Please note that all personal equipment is subject to the final approval of the Centre Manager on the day.

  • Goggles: You may use your own goggles provided they are specifically designed for paintball, feature a full-face mask, and have not been modified. They must be in good condition to meet our safety standards.

  • Paintball Markers (Guns): You may bring your own marker to our national centres only if you have booked a Private Game. The marker must be compatible with Delta Force gas bottles and will be subject to a mandatory chronograph test to ensure it meets our safe firing-speed limits.

  • Gas Cylinders (Strict Policy): We DO NOT allow customers to bring their own gas cylinders to any of our centres under any circumstances. This is a strict safety protocol to ensure the integrity of the equipment on-site.

  • Paintballs: For safety and insurance reasons, we operate a “Site-Only” paint policy. Only paintballs purchased at the centre may be used.

  • Armoured Gloves: Many regular players choose to bring their own armoured gloves, or you can purchase a professional pair at our on-site shop.

No. For health, safety, and environmental reasons, only paintballs issued by Delta Force on the day of your event may be used.

  • Quality & Safety: We ensure our paintballs are fresh and stored correctly so they break on impact. Paintballs taken off-site cannot be brought back and used at a later date, as we cannot verify their storage conditions or safety once they leave our care.

  • Environmental Protection: We use only fully biodegradable paintballs to protect the local woodland ecosystems.

  • Banking Unused Paint: If you have paintballs left over at the end of your session, you don’t have to lose them! You can leave them with the Centre Manager, who will credit the remaining amount to your booking profile for use on your next visit.

Yes. Delta Force Paintball Manchester is a 5-star accredited member of the UKPBA (United Kingdom Paintball Association) and we maintain a 100% safety record. Beyond being safe, it is a fantastic activity for building teamwork, confidence, and physical fitness in a supervised outdoor environment.

To ensure a safe and comfortable experience for our younger Manchester recruits, we provide age-specific equipment:

  • Mini-ball (Ages 7–10): A specialised, ultra-low-impact version of the game. We use lightweight, spring-loaded markers designed specifically for younger children to ensure a fun, non-intimidating introduction to the sport.

  • Standard Paintball (Ages 10+): For our older juniors and adults, our Manchester centre uses .50 calibre markers. These provide a much lower impact than traditional equipment, significantly reducing bruising while maintaining all the excitement of the game.

  • Industry-Leading Gear: Regardless of age, all players at Manchester are issued with full-head protection goggles, custom-fit body armour, and full-body combat suits with integrated neck padding as standard.

  • Professional Supervision: Every game is led by trained marshals who focus on safety, fair play, and ensuring every child feels included and safe throughout the day.

  • Information for Parents: You can request our comprehensive ‘Information for Parents’ guide from our booking team on 0203 869 9135.

  • Site Visits (By Appointment Only): We understand that organisers and parents may wish to see our Manchester facilities first-hand. To ensure a staff member is available to assist you without interrupting active game sessions, site visits are available by appointment only.

  • How to Arrange a Visit: Please contact our Manchester events team at least 48 hours in advance on 0203 869 9135 to schedule a time to visit the centre.

We take great care in how we group our players to ensure a safe and balanced experience for everyone.

  • Mini-ball (Ages 7–10): To maintain a safe and fun environment for our youngest players, adults are not permitted to play in Mini-ball sessions. These games are strictly for children, ensuring they play with and against others of a similar age, size, and ability.

  • Standard Paintball (Ages 10+): For our standard sessions, we aim to group players by age where possible. However, you may see mixed-age groups if parents wish to play alongside their children or if there are older siblings in a booking.

  • Professional Supervision: Regardless of the age group, all games are led by our professional marshals who remain on the field at all times to enforce safety rules and ensure fair play.
